KinectAir

Challenge

In the early stages of development, KinectAir needed an updated UX/UI strategy for their marketing website to increase conversions to their booking app.

Outcomes

We challenged assumptions about existing users and identified the right-fit market demographics for this private flight service. With our UX/UI artifacts, KinectAir completely restructured its marketing website with newly defined pathways that anticipated needs, a messaging strategy that clarified service offerings, and a new exploration experience that translated to increased session times and conversions.

My Roles

  • Market & user research

  • Proto-personas

  • Site map

  • Wireframes

  • Messaging strategy

  • Copywriting

Defining the Audience

We first worked to understand the KinectAir target audiences with market and user research. These user observations and insights were captured with proto-persona profiles that represented common perspectives, needs, and pain points across the target demographics.

Mapping Pathways

Next, we iterated on a site map and wireframes to test pathways and messaging structures that could curate a desired user experience.

Telling the Right Story

Finally, we ran a messaging strategy workshop with a large stakeholder group to reflect and align on the brand voice, tone, and copywriting guidelines.
